A key difference is that with SEO, the clicks to your website are free (referred to as ‘organic’), and with PPC you are paying on a per-click basis. Paid ads primarily display above all organic results, and paid ads give you a chance to appear above your competitors immediately, where SEO may take a period of time to eventually show at the top of results. We highly recommend running paid ads along with an SEO campaign as this gives you the ability to show up in multiple places and have a better chance of capturing the user’s interest.
